Termites, mold and insects is a problem that is often found in homes. Tropical weather became one of the main factor that cause the growing up of those the three “other occupants” in our home. Therefore making homes free of termites, mold and insects become imperative to create a comfortable and healthy home.

To realize the house free of termites, fungi and insects, it needs special handling as follows:

1. Termite
The presence of termites in a house can be detected by looking at the damage to the wood. Usually we will find a pile of wood dust that fell on the floor. There are two ways to deal with termites namely pre-construction and post construction. In the pre construction, anti-termite chemicals added to the foundation hole and onto the floor concrete house that has not been closed or has not beeen installed with floor tiles. While in post-construction phase is done by including anti-termite chemicals into the soil along the house foundation as well as by spraying directly into the wood surface.

2. Mushrooms
The presence of the fungus can be detected by observing the wall, the sky – the heavens and the corner of the room, if there are blackish or greenish surface color, it is characteristic of fungal growth. Get used to routinely check the condition of the house and fix leaking pipes and roofs, use a special mold cleaner and coat it with paint.

3. Insect
Cockroaches and ants are common insects that found in the house. Cockroaches usually appears in the kitchen, but can be overcome by using insect repellent and you can also also put pieces of pandan leaves at each of the corner of the room. Meanwhile, to cope with ants in large quantities can be done by spraying eucalyptus oil, on the the paths that usually traversed by the ants.

In addition to following the tips above, it never hurts to call a professional service when it is absolutely necessary.
